And What Alice Found There
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of returning the The Villa near Levens for Emma and Wayne's beautiful wedding. This venue never fails to disappoint, and is quickly becoming a favourite of mine - it's the ideal place for a small, intimate wedding but with tons of style and class.
The day started off well, with excitement in the air as Emma and her bridesmaids got ready together in a room at the hotel. It's always fun to see how people's emotions change as the day progresses, and as soon as the dress was on there were a few tears shed and the nerves began to sink in. After father and daughter headed down the dramatic staircase arm in arm, I quickly made it through into the ceremony room in time to catch the lovely entrance featuring Emma and Wayne's youngest sons leading the way. A beautiful ceremony was followed by a fun walk around the gardens for the bride and groom portraits, some emotional speeches, and a magical evening do (magic courtesy of Chris Cook)! Overall, a really lovely day with some fun little quirks making it a truly unique wedding. I wish all the love and happiness to Emma, Wayne and their lovely family - it was a pleasure to meet you all and be a part of your special day!
